The Apacd Day Center is a medium-complexity special social protection service for people with disabilities and their families.

Our audience is children, teenagers, youth and adults

with neuromotor physical disability and multiple impairments

to a severe degree and in a situation of dependence.
 

The Day Center is a way to avoid the social isolation of people with

disabilities and other situations of risk and violation of rights.  

Our goal is to promote autonomy and quality improvement

of life of users and their caregivers/relatives, preventing

overload situations arising from the demand for care

prolonged and permanent.
 

The activities worked with the users are carried out through

workshops that aim to stimulate and maintain motor skills,

cognitive, sensory and social. In addition, favoring the strengthening of bonds between family members and users, as well as users/family members and the service, as the activities facilitate this interaction.

They have weekly themes and diversified daily activities,

which are organized by the technical team and conducted by the caregivers.
